The Daily Echo: Happy 28th Anniversary My Sweet Inger :) August 27, 2016

August 27, 2016

Today’s Echo is the the song “Never Stop” by SafetySuit. Great video but greater words. As I reflect on those words, “never stop”.. My greatest example has been my sweet wife Inger. Today marks our 28th Anniversary. They say time flies when your having fun and WOW has it ever gone by quickly. As I sit here at 12:30 A.M. while my angel is asleep a few feet away from me. I can’t help but think of how blessed I am to have had that shy, beautiful, innocent, happy Swedish girl come into my life over 28 years ago, I can’t help but think I’m not the only one eternally thankful she did. Inger has a profound impact upon anyone and everyone she crosses path’s with. Her genuine kindness is felt by the strangest of strangers. Her smile and laugh warm the coldest of rooms. Inger ALWAYS thinks about others first…. For 28 yeas I have seen her constantly replenish her closet full of gifts, ranging from candles, bracelets, bath soaps, disney stuffed animals, and all sorts of gifts for that special person who she thinks needs that gift, but what they get is her love and compassion. Her smile is bigger, her laugh is louder, her glimmer is brighter every time she has an opportunity to give something from that closet. It may not be a gift of much value in monetary stature, but the receiver always feels the greatest gift of all…Charity…Inger has taught me the greatest lesson I believe we can learn in this life. She has taught me how to LOVE.. Not by some masterful planned lesson, but always by example. She has loved me when at times I wouldn’t love myself… She has loved me through the good and the bad… She has loved me when all I could give her was a .79 cent slurpee from 7 Eleven for our weekly date.(And sometimes it took 2 weeks to save that .79cents) That same love has been dealt to our children, their spouses, and now our little Linnea. This year has been the hardest year for my angel wife, as the one that taught her how to love needed to return home. Through the most difficult time of Inger’s life she came home from Sweden and…yes….you guessed it, started to reach into that closet and give to those around her. She learned along time ago that the best way to mend a broken heart was to help heal another’s. Thank you Sweetheart for choosing me and always Loving me… Happy 28th Anniversary. You are my Hero…
