One of the many concerns I hear weekly is how inactive someone’s child may be. Dr. John Ratey the author of the book “Spark” has documented how exercise is not only vital for our physical well being but essential for us mentally. Much of the depression we are seeing in our youth is largely due to inactivity. In today’s short clip Dr. Ratey talks about how you can help your children young to teens become more active. Now this may be a problem because it involves YOU being active. Take a listen and make sure you are planning daily exercise into your schedule….YES it’s that important.
