Today’s Echo we move on to progression #3 with Kelly Starrett…. We have discussed position of the feet, how to take care of the feet, and today we will look at muscles higher up the chain. Mobilizing these tissues is critical to maintain good health. Taking the time to combat the 10,000 plus steps you and I take everyday plus any running is critical to maintain health. Think of it this way…. If you knew it was going to snow 1 inch an hour for 24 hours wouldn’t it be easier to take a broom every hour and sweep the snow off???? Or you could wait for 24 inches to accumulate and tackle that task? You body is no different. Most people wait until they tear and ACL or rotator cuff to realize how much easier it would have been to maintain tissue health and pay attention to spinal position and good body mechanics.
