Stop what, you are thinking? Today’s short message gives us all a simple solution to solving a problem we all exhibit at times. As you go about your day how often are you looking at others and JUDGING them? Too fat, too skinny, too tall, too short, too SOMETHING?????? If you are not sure about this take a simple test. Today really become observant of your thoughts. As you interact with others see what you mind in thinking. As you watch TV are you doing the same with the people in the commercials or on a program you are watching. The fact is we all do this in one form or another. Some have used judging others in a negative way to somehow think if they can think negative of another it will make them better. This can be a very hard habit to break especially if you are in a group of friends that do this out loud. STOP IT!!! Very simple and to the point advice. If you struggle with a group of friends that find this behavior acceptable every day at the office or at school you have 1 of 2 choices. 1st when the topic of another comes up you can be a voice of change. Instead of chiding in with the negative say something positive about that person. You will find that repeating this process will change the direction of the conversation and over time those friends or coworkers will begin to STOP with the negative talk or just not do it around you. Your 2nd choice (which is my favorite) is to begin associating with people who find positive in others and in life. Always remember we become the people we associate with most. If you don’t like who you are becoming look around to see who you are allowing to influence you most.
