The Daily "ECHO"

The Daily Echo: Self-Esteem and Owning YOUR Clay….. October 2, 2015

October 2, 2015

I have featured Dave Blanchard on the echo many times. Today is one of my favorites. Self Esteem issues are everywhere. How many times do we compare our worst to someone’s best. We wish we had his/her hair, car, job, family, wealth, and the list goes on and on. Instead of valuing our own “clay” we want someone else’s “clay”. We will never rise above our current struggles and trials until we first except the “clay” we have been given. The parable of the talents is so revealing when it comes to owning our “clay”. There are those that spend a lifetime hiding their unique gifts and talents while others take what they have and expand it at every opportunity. At the end when we are thankful for our “clay” and use it to help others we are always given more “clay”. I would encourage any of you that struggle with Self-Esteem to read Dave’s book “The Observers Chair”. I have highlighted that book on an earlier episode if you would like more information.
