The Daily Echo: Planting Seeds? June 19, 2014

June 19, 2014

For me thinking of my mind as a garden makes the analogy of planting seeds more real. This morning while reading, “As a man thinketh” by James Allen I ran across the famous quote I talk about in today’s episode. Start thinking about your uncultivated garden in your minds each day and you will be much more selective on what gets planted in that spot. It’s very difficult to rid our minds of the garbage we have allowed to seep in their in the past. Make sure you begin to take notice so no more “weed” seeds are deposited in the fertile ground of your mind. Be careful the seeds are planted by a variety of avenues. The music you listen to, the TV you watch, the internet sites you browse, the books your read or don’t read, the conversations you have with people or about people. The first step is just to notice what you are allowing to be planted.
